  • App Visible: When the app is open, we collect location data to display your position on the map for ride discovery and navigation.
  • When Tracking Stops: We immediately stop collecting location data when:
    • The ride is completed or cancelled, or
    • The app is fully closed (removed from recent apps).

During an active ride, Blix uses a foreground service that displays a persistent notification (e.g., “Ride in Progress”). This ensures uninterrupted location tracking required for safety and navigation while using other apps.
